New SP just hit FA...

Horacio Ramirez, the southpaw who used to pitch for the Braves, was just released by the Seattle Mariners.

Horacio has a career GO/AO ratio of 1.76.  He struggled last season in Seattle, but was okay as a Brave in the NL.  He won 7 games last year despite his 7+ era.  Seems to struggle on the road...

He has spent some time on the DL, however, it was not due to his arm (finger, hamstring).

If the scouts looked at Ponson, why not at least look at Ramirez...  He should be cheap.
