I was reading up on mlb trade rumors today an ran into a very interesting article about Rodger Clemens. As anyone knows, the Red Sox and Yankees are showing zero interest in him, and apparently the Astros have shown no interest as well. Given I know this is just rumors and more than likely isn't what will happen, but Buster Olney suggested that the Cards would be an option for Clemens in the 2008 season. After reading this it was tough for me to immediately be displeased by this news, but I also feel like it could only bring in bad publicity to sign someone looked at as negatively as Clemens. Is signing Clemens something the Cardinals should do? Or should we look past him and find another option?
