Cards/Memphis Roll Call (4/3-4/4)

Cardinals and Memphis Redbirds announced a two game set the first weekend of April (Friday April 3 and Saturday the 4th)

I just moved to Knoxville, so this is my fill of 'in stadium' Cardinals baseball until Mothers Day weekend in Cincy or July 4th in Cincy. Other than that, I'm hoping to get to a few Braves games, and probably some Tennessee Smokies (Cubs AA...ugh).

Who's thinking of hitting AZP in Memphis for this? I've yet to make it to Memphis, so I'm a little jacked for this one. I'm in for Saturday's tilt, and then destroying some BBQ. Mmmmmmm.

Johnson City Cardinals

Do you plan on going to any Johnson City Cardinals games? Here is their schedule. The JC Cardinals’ season starts in June. They are in the same Appalachian League with Bristol, Kingsport, and Greeneville. All of those places are within a two-hour drive of Knoxville.

I hope you enjoy the 5.5 hour drive from Knoxville to Memphis in April.

I figured I'd hit a couple JC Cards games. Probably more Tennessee Smokies though

I wish they were still our AA team. I lived in Peoria for awhile and got to see Chiefs games as the Cards affiliate and the Cubs later on. I did see Sandberg is down here now as the Smokies’ manager. Figure I’ll be the only one booing like a jerk.
