PMR for SS in 2008
Now is a great time to brush up on PMR as it begins. If anyone has questions, there are plenty of commenters who know about the defensive metrics but I'd suggest reading up on Pinto's explanation of his own system to start.

Strange...
That Jed Lowrie, college 2B, is ranked so highly and Troy Tulowitzki and Khalil Greene, who I always saw as slick fielders, rankes so low.
And that Derek Jeter isn’t in the basement with Eckstein boggles the mind.

the amazing thing is
We had the top rated 2nd baseman, yet still managed to come in with a negative team number because we refused to just let Kennedy play, while giving Izturis a pass because of his glove.

c. izturis
lived up to his billing as a defensive specialist. made the 08 signing at 2.85mil look fair to both himself and ownership.

remember also
that PMR is strictly a measre of range and no other aspect of a fielder’s prowess.
