Dear Santa (i know, its early)
Dear baby Santa,
I have been good all year. I kept the faith all year, even believing in the ghost of Mark Mulder, please honor my Christmas list this year.
I wanna.....
A power bat behind albert
a healed elbow for albert
MVP for albert
to keep skip! Skip for President!
for the return of edgar to saint louis
to resign Looper, Miles and Mr. Russ Springer
a trade for AK
and last but not least, i would like the return of the So man who was just released from the Phillies. Hey he has two rings!

I loved Luddy...
…As much as the next guy, but I think we need to brace ourselves for a fall back to Earth next year.
What I want is…
A good On base man in front of APu
Another legitimate Starter
A closer who wont blow 35 games for the BoB
The gold GLove not to be a beauty contest ( Wright over Glaus….Seriously?!?)

history
is filled with one year wonders. dont get me wrong, i love luddy but until he does it for a few years, he is not a threat. last year could be a fluke, but here is another great year!
Aaron Miles is worth it.

Do you really want
a 33 year old, offensively slumping SS, with decreased range?
I don’t know. If I’m asking Santa, I’d want a brand new Harley, not an old, rusted 10-speed…

Skip
I think Skip is a nice little player and all, but as long as he and Ankiel are both here than Colby Rasmus is blocked. One of them has to be moved, and seeing as how Ankiel brings more to the table I’d say that Skip is the one who has to go.
I disagree on Renteria, unless he’s willing to play second for a pay cut. Then we may have something.
Even if Ludwick regresses next year, he likely won’t simply fall off the face of the Earth. Isn’t some combo of Ludwick, Ankiel, Glaus, and maybe Rasmus at least large bats? I agree that more offense is good, but isn’t a good MIFer more important?

it didn't work re Eckstein
but the idea of playing 2b at a home town discount is a very interesting; too bad too many factors mean it won’t happen.

All I want from Santa
is for him not to give any gifts to those who still make the mistake of calling our most productive outfielder Ryan Ludwig
