What would your song be?

Hey guys,

It is both a boring day at work as well as a boring time for a baseball fan so I thought that I throw a possibly fun question out there for discussion (Since it is a question about music I thought that it might also make for some good off-topic banter as well).

If you were a major league baseball player what song would you want playing while you walked up to the plate?

I think that I would pick "Typical" by Mute Math but "Owner of a Lonely Heart" by Yes would also be cool

FredbirdisaDork is a Dork......

Our country reeks of trees. Our yaks are really large. And they smell like rotting beef carcasses. And we have to clean up after them. And our saddle sores are the best. We proudly wear women's clothing. While searing sand blows up our skirts.

And the buzzards, they soar overhead. And poisonous snakes will devour us whole. Our bones will bleach in the sun. And we will probably go to hell. And that is our great reward. For be-ing the-uh Ro-yal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen!

Ouch

b.t.w. I used to have the Ren and Stimpy cd with “The Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksman” theme song on it.

It's a beautiful anthem.

Fredbird may be a dork

but you know there is a fine woman inside that suit. Or at least I hope there is, maybe they put the ugly one in the suit?!?!?

For some reason, I don't enjoy watching Big Mac hit #62, but I fondly remember Ray Lankford blasting the ball out of the park in the same game. He had one sweet swing!!

Yes!

The first 26 seconds of that song would sweet for a walk up song. TFK is neat. I like them.

Leavin’ in the Morning by Drag the River
or

One of the three.

Clearly

The best possible song of all possible worlds is “You’re the best” by Bill Conti, from the soundtrack to The Karate Kid. This was the song played during the tournament montage, and as my hypothetical baseball career would be like one giant montage of baseball awesomeness, it is a perfect fit.
You’re the best—around!
Nothin’s gonna ever keep you down!

It’s a very fun song.
