My personal apology

I wish to make a formal apology to all those affected by Albert Pujol's dismal performance to date this season. I gambled the fortunes of the defending champs by selfishly bidding on Alberto for my fantasy baseball league, and winning.

It is unmuteable law that any big star I carry on my team will suffer the worst season of his career, and my lake of foresight is already showing. Forgive me fellow Cardinals fans, and know that I suffer along with you as my $52 roto dollars remain a loss thus far.

I too confess
The difficulty with Carpenter is my fault, for I cursed him by drafting him.  The good news is that I also chose Zambrano...

I may have played a part
in the Cards' troubles this season.

You see, I took Carpenter as my first pitcher (after Santana had been drafted).  It's a cursed position.  Last year I took Harden as my first pitcher.  And you see what happened there...

2006 World Champs! Inconceivable! You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

that's it!
I'm gonna go pick up a Mets pitcher to take Carp's place while he's on the DL and resist the urge to take Wainwright.  I don't think we can afford to have Wainer cursed and out as well.

Wainwright
is still available in your league? I want in that one.
Cheers
