The (Dream) Weaver is Over

Although I was sad to see him go elsewhere in the offseason (based solely on his playoff performances for the Cardinals), I'm no longer of the opinion it was a bad thing. Regular exposure to A.L. batters must be toxic to him, or else without the Duncan influence he indulges in his worst pitching habits. Maybe we'll pick him up out of the discard pile in July and go through a case of deja vu?  Nah...

amen
your exactly right.  I decided i will never question Dunc ever again....what ever he does just give it time, hes probably right...and by the was "ever again" in baseball....means hes bought himself a year or so....but i dont think his brilliant work with pitchers is going to end anytime soon

Weaver-
I saw him pitch in Seattle on Tuesday night. His first inning and fifth inning were brutal; Torii Hunter and Jason Kubel smacked him around, and Hunter even hit a grand slam off him that blew the game wide open. However, he looked pretty good in his other innings, so I don't know if he's done-he just seemed lost and settling back into some old habits. You could see his body language change from the upper deck after every single hit. Sad stuff.

That being said, it was fun to sing "Dream Weaver" every time he gave up a hit.
