Clemens to STL?

Sorry to bring up such an unlikely topic... but I was watching Cold Pizza this morning and they began mentioning the chance of him coming to STL.  But I did not get to watch the entire segment.  I had school/work.

Did anyone catch what was said about this?  I realize the chances are slim, but we do have a better roster than Houston.

The story was rumored here as well as on Cold Pizza.

post dispatch
read the story on stltoday.com.  it wasnt anything too serious.  the cards put their chances at something like two million to one.  they, just like every other team in the league, wanted to let clemens know that they would be interest if he were to consider a team other than ny, houston or boston.

Oh
Cold Pizza . . . haha. I haven't watched that in awhile. Do they still have Woody Paige on it? I love that guy. He's nuts.
On with the youth movement!

I don't particularly like footbal
but if a free kick were worth four points, I think it would be way more interesting...

Clement
Yes, I think there is a chance the Cards could get Matt Clement...oh, you mean Roger Clemens, no chance! (Unless the Cards moved all of their home games to Houston...hmmmmm.)
How about handin' me another helpin' of those mashed taters...thank you very much!

I think the
interesting part of the clemens ordeal is that it shows the cards ownership is willing to put up an extra $15 mil for an impact player.

penny and 15 million
if they have this new money and could get some like penny they should still have the money at the trading deadline to get a bat if they need it. the big question is do they have the players to pull off any big trades.

one interesting question does ankiel have any trade value. most likley not much
