VEB meet-greet in Springfield
You all want drama...how bout our own little soap opera down in Springfield?
Now that I have your attention, there is no way that the Rolen/TLR mess goes all the way to the last week in March. Right?
More importantly, however, is that the big club IS coming back to face the SCards. I didn't want to completely steal Fritz's idea, so I will only share in the VEB meet-and-greet glory.
I am all for traveling up for a game at BIII, but my wallet may have other ideas. I am relatively new to the Joplin area, but I did hit up a couple of Springfield games last year. Not only was the team fun to watch, but there is tons of room out on the grass. This is perfect for a two reasons.
With the big club coming up for two games, there is an opportunity for us to get together for cheaper and a closer-knit atmosphere. Anyone interested in bringing a lawn chair and hanging out at the nicest minor-league park I have seen?

I'm all for it...
My birthday is on the 29th (Friday), so I'm supposedly already going to that game. I'd love to come chat with the group!

I don't live in Springfield anymore
Hey, if you guys get enough people together to do this, it would make an interesting niche sports story for GO Magazine, don't you think? If only the editor knew about it...

"I'm Idaho."
"Mrs. Krabappel and Principal Skinner were in the closet making babies and I saw one of the babies and the baby looked at me."
"I found a moon rock in my nose!"
"This snowflake tastes like fish sticks."
"I bent my wookie.", "I'm a boy!"
just a few of my favorites
