The article didn't go into great detail except saying they thought rest would take care of it. I guess my only good thought is that Edmonds has very been the type of player that needed a ton of at-bats in spring ball. But waiting this long to have the surgery doesn't feel right. It makes me wonder what they aren't saying.

I'm not looking to start a conspiracy or anything, but man, the season has been over for awhile. You'd think after a month or so of rest you would be able to tell if it was getting better.

With an already depleted outfield, I wonder if this will push Walt to resign PWilson or maybe CWilson?
