Since there's some back and forth about the merits/failings of our very own Mike "Moonman" Shannon again, I thought I'd post a link to a diary I posted back in May '05. It's got most of his classic lines, but I'm sure there are plenty more recent ones to add, so please do. I dunno. I've loved Mike Shannon's broadcasts for so long I guess I have no objectivity in the matter. All I know is that when he either dies or retires, my last tie to the Cardinals of my childhood/youth will die or retire with him. Maybe for some that's a good thing. For me, it will be tragic.
