New stadium

My grandfather has Springfield Cardinals season tickets, and managed to snag a few for the Memphis/Springfield game.
We live in Springfield and followed the team closely last year--I can't wait to see a full season of Pomeranz and Haerther, without Papo Bolivar and Juan Diaz clogging the lineup and keeping young talent on the bench.
I've heard there's a fair amount of controversy about the AAA-AA teams opening the new stadium and not the big club? True or not? It's all still goodness and light down here in Springtown.
I will post my impressions of the stadium and the clubs tomorrow.
