Game 4

I got to go to the game last night, and had a lot of fun. Much more than the WS game I went to in 2004, that's for sure.

My friend and I walked to the stadium from the North, and thus around the Western edge of Busch II. As we were roughly half way around the old stadium footprint, we noticed the crowd up ahead getting bunched up, with most people going into the street to go around a couple of old guys. We get up there, and the old guys are Tommy Lasorda and Joe Garagiola. And the reason they are messing up traffic? Garagiola is helping Lasorda put on his newly purchased Scott Spiezeo red beard.

I kid you not.

I should have taken a picture, but I didn't. I've been kicking myself for not having proof. And it did seem kind of weird to see those two walking to the game, right along with the rest of the masses. Pretty cool!

Lasorda

Lasorda's a dork but he's decent in those commercials. I'd rather see his commercials on repeat than have to listen to Joe Buck and Tim McCarver any day of the week.
