Chris Mihlfeld, Albert Pujols trainer Cleared
I think we all remember when AP's Trainer got mixed up in all that Jason Grimsley HGH affidavit. Well this is the same affidavit that Clemens and Petitite were on. It turnes on that Chris Mihlfeld is cleared off that list. So in turn no more Pujols HGH worries.

I am a former journalist, and present lawyer. As a journalist, I wouldn't have published that story without either a second independent source or seeing the unredacted document myself. As a lawyer, I wouldn't have let my client publish a reputation-damaging story without much more solid reporting to back it up.
For a website, whose story was the one picked

what would you prefer?
But they ran a full retraction on the front page of the blog. What more do you want? Will's resignation? I'm sure that story hit him as hard as it hit any of us. He surely felt conflicted about publishing it and probably felt like if he sat on the story he'd be guilty of 'protecting his own'.
I'm a big fan of both Deadspin and Keith O, but they both blew it on this one. There are all sorts of crazy rumors floating around on the Internet, and you can't ignore one of the most fundamental rules of journalism in the race to get the scoop.
The lesson here is don't always believe what you read on the internets or any other media source for that matter (especially not on cable news).
It just appears they are still buck passing...
It just doesn't seem that the apology fits the firestorm they started.
I don't want anyone's resignation, I don't really want much of anything. I'm just saying as far as full out apologies go, that's almost like saying 'I'm sorry you had to find out I'm lying.' Not 'I'm sorry I lied'.
Not saying the lied, just using it as an example.
