Great game today!! Even though Mulder got knocked around, the boys in red came through. Here's to a typically outstanding close by the just returned Izzy! I love your site already and am looking forward to daily visits. I had to laugh at the couple slaps from Flubland--those guys are so jealous of the Birds that they can't even bear competition from Birdfans on what they consider "their" turf in netspace. Yes, there are many more Flubblogs than Birdblogs, but just give em a read. There are maybe three that rise above typical Flubfan whining and moaning about how "fate" (rather than poor baseball) has robbed them of their "rightful place" in the baseball hierarchy. They're so discombobulated by constant losing that most want to fire the only manager that's brought them to a couple winning seasons in a decade. I certainly laugh at some of Dusty Baker's moves, but he obviously does the best he can with what he's got. Which aint much. Whatever. Those are Flubfan problems, and I'm sure they'll deal with them with the usual shaking of their fists at a stormy sky. I've been a Birdfan for 43 years (born into it from 2 generations before), have seen 3 World Champion teams in my lifetime (more on the way), and I must say that life in Cardinal Nation is always, even in the odd bad seasons, nothing less than grand!! Let's win ballgames and leave the whimpering to the boys in blue.
